Professional Small Businesses Into Solano County

Since 1999 Solano Incubator and its affiliates have attracted and nurtured many small professional businesses in Solano County. We continue to work with Fairfield and Solano County governments in attracting more professional small businesses.

Our local governments effectively attract needed modern, Aclean@ factories.  Factories have a trickle down effect, creating jobs servicing factory blue-collar workers when they spend their salary checks.

With recent changes in government, Solano and Fairfield are paying more attention to attracting employers that offer higher paying jobs, especially those in the professional business services arena.

Firms from the inner San Francisco Bay Area, or Sacramento provide many of the professional services required by our factories.  The inflow of local professional services will induce more factories to choose Fairfield.  Factories choose to locate where professional services are available for things like subcontracting for needed services.

Fairfield, at the mid-point of these two large markets is the logical location for professional businesses to set up their branch offices.  The many professionals wishing to leave the high priced congested regions from the inner bay area will help fill Solano's need for professional services.

To attract more professional employers, Solano County effectively secured nearly a whopping one billion dollars to widen our highway I-80, from 680 to 12. It is hoped this widening will continue to Solano Mall at some future phase. Look forward to other roadway improvements throughout Solano County.

With the growing presence of telecommunications like video conferencing, immediate proximity to congested inner urban areas is becoming less needed.  Solano's proximity to Sacramento and San Francisco, along with its ample preserved open space hills; Old Town Suisun's charming waterfront projects and urban revitalization programs make the county the ideal location point.

Lets work together as a community to attract high level companies and jobs.
